Lacrosse Game Performance by Season / Event
This page will be updated regularly with the latest statistics from my games – both high school and summer leagues. Please note that the “official game book” from my freshman season with Springboro High School was never recovered after a coaching change was made in the organization. But I can tell you honestly that I was among the team leaders in assists and goals for the Junior Varsity that year, and led the drills as a captain.
This year I am excited to be learning under coach Stefan Schroeder – All-American goalie from Ohio State, starter for the Ohio Machine. Our Varsity season is off to a good start and we are hoping to continue our growth, making a deep run into this years playoffs!
Sad to think this is my last summer season, but my Buckeye Elite team allowed me to make some great friends and go out with a bang! As a unit, we were Champions of the Silver Division in the King of Queens Tournament, and unfortunately fell a game short as Runners-Up in the Pipe City Tournament. We all had a blast and got better as the season progressed for sure.
Personally, I was working on quite a few things on top of my normal passing and shooting. I was able to make quite a few defensive plays and worked on my aggressiveness in getting all the ground balls I could. There were even some times I got to play middie, which was pretty fun. For the 16 games we played, I believe my personal stats ended up pretty well.
I ended the summer tournament season with 15 Goals and / 26 Assists
Played in every game, as we compiled a 16-3 overall record. We beat some talented teams such as Dublin Jerome, Summit Country Day, Mariemont, Mason and St. Francis DeSales to name a few. Our team at one point was ranked #4 in Ohio, and we won two tournament games before finally dropping one to defending state champion Moeller, 11-8.
I received a lot of playing time and even started a few games as a junior. We all learned a lot from our coach Stefan Schroder and look forward to summer lacrosse and next season, where we will try to make a deeper run into the tournament.
